My Vision of God’s Will in All My ActivitiesMoney/Finance:
I will accumulate money to the extent that I learn and grow in the lines of money management, financial growth and a structured savings plan. God’s placing of people into my life to teach me the things that I need to learn are all in His design. And just as I am working with others in AA, in need to be helping and passing alone what I am learning in others areas of my life to people who are ready to hear and know.
Relationships/Marriage
My ideal relationship may not be a reality. I must learn to love and be compassionate with everyone as well as myself. Knowing what I want in a relationship first and then being willing to change and accept what God’s plan for my relationship is, is Vital for my happiness. God will give me what He thinks is right for me at each moment and as time passes, things will change because He makes them so. My acceptance, where I can be most helpful; and with love and tolerance, I can find peace and someone to live with and love.
Work
To be honest and hardworking, willing to put forth an honest days work for and honest days pay. Not scheming to take advantage of, but always willing to give what I can. Continual betterment in the direction off His Will for me will increase my earning potential in His time. Road Blocks to meeting goals are times earmarked for reflection.
Children
To be a parent, a teacher and to lead by example -To be a person of increasing character and integrity so that they can see that there is a better way to life. To teach through both explanation and example, that God is not a myth and that faith does work for everyone. To remain consistent with who I am and who they are expected to be. to be a structure they can lean on and be supportive when they are doing the right things, and to be compassionate and helpful in redirection when they are not. To say and show that I care, and love them -To be there and practice putting them at the top of the page wherever possible. To help them see that they are worth it, and that life is good.
Spiritual Life
Knowing that the Spiritual Life is not a myth and that I have seen tangible results from its practice manifesting in my life. To allow God’s love to emanate from within me to help touch the lives of those in pain, suffering or just in need of a friend and someone who cares. Speak to God everyday, in every way, as often as possible.
Recreation
To keep avocation activities in their place, understanding priorities and what is recreation compared to the importance of people in my life. Remembering to have fun during recreation, as well as with my family to enjoy each moment as it passes. Not to pout when recreation gets cancelled for responsibility. Not to add new responsibilities when recreation is planned.
General Intent Life
God, Family, Vocation, Recreation – in that order. To have a life beyond my wildest dreams, and to find contentment in the moment instead of the next big thing - To be loving and have compassion for others - To be helpful and be able to ask for help from others - To be responsible, caring and selfless towards others - To lead a life of continued spiritual growth - To become prepared, act appropriately, and having integrity to follow through - To keep and maintain a balanced and happy life.
