Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings

Generally, most AA Meetings a come to be nothing more than war story drivening psyco bable monlogs that emphatically stay bogged down in problems of sick minded AA's most unwilling to change, do the necessary work let alone stop being such a freak and let God take His rightful place in their lives. I know this for a fact after 25 years of rehabs, AA, NA, Abstinance, ISM (I sponser myself) and a myriad of insane sprees while sober (or dry) in AA! I was them, unwilling to do this, practice these principals in all of my affairs, live life in the solution, live in 10, 11, and 12.

These are usually referred to as Middle-of-the-Road meetings, and the Big Book gives specific instructions on this also, stating that; "there is no middle of the road solution" - then why do we have them. Well, if you go to any of these meetings, problem based meetings, or worse, parrator meetings, where the people are rehashing old issues over and over, and not living in the solution that AA and the Big Book give to us, you will quickly see or hear that no one is talking about the Big Book and it's evedent solution.

If you are doing the work in the Big Book, then I urge you to be on the firing lines of AA and take this solution into the most sordid meetings, you will go safe and protected if you have a solid relationship with God and are pure of motive. We cannot bash this book over the heads of others, no can we make anyone have an experince with this work. The solution is attraction rather than promotion. We attract through example and detract through experience. If someone is having a bad experience doing it their way, and you're having a good experience doing it the Big Book way, they may be attracted to you, be never coherced.

Do yourself a favor and try Living In The Solution for One Year, and if it hasn't done for you what it is doing for me, you can put it down at any time. But if it does do for you something special, please don't forget to pass it on.
